We are so thrilled to introduce Lori Smithey!

Her own introduction when we hired her as music director: "You may have known me as Lori Briscoe, daughter of Jerry & Debby Briscoe, when I was growing up. Like so many, I moved away to college, got married & had children. We lived in Louisiana for many years but recently I heard the Lord calling us back to Chandler. My husband & I both have degrees in music so we came on faith that the Lord would provide jobs. My husband is the music director at an OKC church and I was hired as the music director at my old church, First Christian Church."

But the story doesn't stop there! "The church had been looking for a pastor for over a year and I knew for quite a while that God was calling me to the ministry however, I had not been to seminary and was not ordained. The upshot is I am now attending seminary and being mentored by our former interim pastor, Rev Kathy Weaver. I just had my one year anniversary and am loving every minute!"
